About Browsers & Security
The security of your personal financial information is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a secure Internet environment. The following information is provided to ensure that your on-line experience is secure and trouble-free.
Currently Supported Browsers
For maximum security, we strongly recommend you use a browser that supports 128-bit encryption. The following browsers support 128-bit encryption and provide the best performance and browsing experience on our site.
Internet Explorer™ 5.5
or higher. If you are using the Windows 2000 operating
system, you may also need to install an Internet Explorer High Encryption Package.
Netscape Navigator™ 6.0 or higher
Other browsers may be used, but optimal performance is not guaranteed. If you are unsure if your browser supports 128-bit encryption, please upgrade your browser, via one of the links above, before accessing the online banking site.
Secure Session Information
When you sign-on to online banking, we authenticate that you are who you say you are through the use of a login User ID and password combination. Once authenticated, we establish a secure banking session, as indicated by the secure access symbol on the bottom menu bar of the browser. For security purposes, your secure session will expire if you are inactive for a pre-defined period of time, and you will be required to reenter your User ID and password to regain access to the system. Any transactions or activity not completed at the time your session expires will be lost.

We also take advantage of Secure Socket Layer (SSL), a protocol for managing online message transmission. SSL protects the information sent between our online banking system and your computer.
Our Use of Cookies
A cookie is a file that contains information about you or your system that may be used for many different purposes. As a security precaution, we do not use cookies to authenticate you or to collect any information about you or your browser session. You are not required to support the use of cookies to use our online banking services.
For our commercial customers, a cookie may be optionally used to restrict access to the online Cash Management functionality to a single computer or workstation. This security feature of our online banking is designed to prevent remote or after hours access to the Cash Management system from authorized users. The use of a cookie to restrict access is configurable per commercial company. Please contact us if your commercial cookie restriction setting needs to be changed.
If your browser is currently configured to restrict the use of cookies, follow these instructions to configure your browser to accept Cash Management cookies from our site.

Temporary Internet Files
When you browse a site on the Internet, the pages you access are very commonly stored as Temporary Internet Files in a Windows directory for easy retrieval and faster loading of previously accessed pages. Our on-line banking system is designed to instruct compliant browsers to NOT cache pages from your on-line banking session. This ensures that once you have closed your online banking session, none of your private information remains static on the computer for later access by unauthorized individuals. This is particularly important when you are online in a public location (i.e., public library) or using someone else's computer.
If needed, deleting Temporary Internet Files can be performed as follows:
Follow these steps to delete Temporary Internet Files using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher:
-
With your browser open, choose Tools>Internet Options
-
On the "General" tab, locate the 'Temporary Internet Files' section.
-
Click the "Delete Files" option.
-
Confirm by clicking "OK".

Follow these steps to delete Temporary Internet Files using Netscape 6.0 or higher:
-
With your browser open, choose Edit>Preferences
-
Under Category, open 'Advanced' and select 'Cache'.
-
Click "Clear Disk Cache" and "Clear Memory Cache".
-
Exit by clicking "OK".
