MasterCard® SecureCode™ is a free service that helps protect your MasterMoney™ card
against unauthorized Internet transactions by using identity information established between you and your bank. HNB,
in conjunction with SHAZAM, are providing this service to you to improve the security of your payment transactions
in the electronic commerce environment. Once you activate your SecureCode, your card cannot be used at participating
Internet merchants without authentication by you and/or an authorized user of your account.
The purpose of SecureCode is to improve the security of your online payment transactions. It is designed to improve your
confidence and that of the merchant when making Internet purchases, as well as reduce disputes and fraudulent activity
related to the use of your MasterCard-branded payment cards.
SecureCode is easy to use. After enrolling, every time you pay online at a participating MasterCard SecureCode merchant with your HNB MasterMoney Card, you will be automatically prompted to enter you own private SecureCode – just like entering a PIN at the ATM. With MasterCard SecureCode, only you and the people you designate can make online purchased using your HBN MasterMoney™ Card at participating online merchants.
Choosing your own private Secure Code is quick and easy! You can enroll at anytime by clicking the enrollment link below, or at participating merchants, you will be prompted to enroll prior to checkout. When this happens, a window from SHAZAM will appear and you will be guided through the simple enrollment process before your purchase is completed. Once you have created your personal SecureCode, you must then use it for future purchases at participating online merchants.
